I’m not an expert in kinesiology; however, there is no denying the physical effects I felt after an intense work out.
My body is tired. My legs feel like they’ll give out at a moments notice. I have not felt this physically exhausted in years, and I cannot wait to do it all again.
What I do know about exercising is that it helps the body release stress that has built up over time. That , combined with the endorphins released during physical activity, leave your body and mind feeling both lighter and clearer.
I’m not an expert, I’m just a guy feeling the effects of an intense workout. Next time you’re feeling stressed or unmotivated, just go for a run and don’t stop until you drop. As odd as it sounds, you’ll feel much better afterwards.
P.S. Make sure to stretch, and stay hydrated.
