Personal Limits

We all have our limits. We all have a breaking point. The pill we all need to swallow is that life doesn’t necessarily know or care about what that limit is.

When life throws too much our way, analyzing and sorting priorities is the best way to control those limits.

Think about what really matters in your life and what can be changed. The things that matter most — fight for. Whatever can be changed — be ready to.

Once you’ve assessed your priorities, take time to simply be overwhelmed. Allow your emotions to just take over. Be sad. Giving yourself that opportunity will allow you to focus on your priorities with clarity later on. Shutting everything out will only work for so long. Sooner or later you’ll reach your limit and break.

Control your limits and make sure you don’t break. The only person with the power to change is you.
