Losing is part of life. Life will knock you down time and time again; we need to learn how to get up every time, it’s the only real way of moving forward. However, There will be times when you can stand up to life and beat it. The challenge is knowing when to put forth that effort.
Every loss we face gives us an opportunity to learn something new about ourselves as well as the world around us.
Think about it like a boss fight in a video game. Whenever you lose the fight, you have (hopefully) learned a new strategy, found a new weakness, realized that what you were doing isn’t working or isn’t the most effective approach. Eventually, you put all the trials together and with the information you’ve learned, you’re able to defeat the boss and move on to the next area of the game.
Life is one big boss fight. Instead of retrying from the beginning, like in a video game, we’re forced to keep going. Life will always come back for another round and will often win, what’s important is to not get discouraged and instead learn from the experience.
If you can successfully take a lesson or two away from every loss, then it will be a lot easier to win when it matters the most. Even if you don’t win, lose smart and try again. You’ll get there.

I like the video game analogy.
