We can make a good impression every time we meet someone; however, it’s not every day we get a second chance to make a first impression.
Second chances are rare and they should be treated as such. To be clear, by second chance I mean — an opportunity to re-introduce yourself to someone whom you have not spoken to or interacted with in any way for an extended period of time.
A second chance is an opportunity to prove to someone that you have changed. It’s something that is equal parts exciting and intimidating. In my opinion, the best way to handle second chances would be to make every interaction as important as a first impression. Always be the best version of yourself.
The hardest part about second chances is that the other party has some kind of pre-existing image of you in their minds. The best part is, you have the opportunity to change it.
