Sometimes, when faced with new, difficult, challenges, we get scared. We get caught up with the daunting task that is ahead of us and we start to stress out.
So remember your wins.
Remember all the obstacles and challenges you’ve already overcome to get to where you are now. Think back to when you were in a similar situation and ask yourself what you did then to overcome that challenge; even if it before you weren’t as successful as you might have liked to be, the benefit of hindsight is that you’re able to look back, learn, and make better choices now.
As daunting as your newest challenge might be, just remember that you’ve been successful in the past, and use that to not only drive you forward but to also help reduce your stress.
